A quick look back, and to the future of the club

Welcome to week 52 of the Draw or Die Newsletter.
Today is our one year anniversary. Time flies!

What an incredible year one of the Draw or Die Club. This year has been really transforming for me as I write these newsletters weekly. I’ve met and talked to so many different artists from all walks of life, and yet, we all have so much in common.

LOOKING BACK

Some of the highlights from the past year:

DEFEAT THE FUNK has helped over 1700 artists get “unstuck” and drawing again.
Our first COMICON and live panel was in May at 3 Rivers Con.
We launched the website and merch for artists
The DAILY Drawing Prompt Emails were lunched in the summer.
PROMPTOBER, our October Drawing Challenge was a big hit with several prizes from big brands that artist’s love.
We launched a Discord Community.
Launched the Youtube Channel, with regular Podcast and other content for the Draw or Die brand.
28, Our February Drawing Challenge was success! I drew live almost every night in February.

LOOKING FORWARD

This train is moving along full steam, and here’s a look at some things just on the horizon:

Custom Notebooks: They should be done in the coming. I have two sizes, Field Notes size, and a wallet sketch size.

THE DAILY DRAWING CLUB: We already have the daily e-mails, but one of my focuses in year two will be really making this into more of a virtual drawing club with more activities. (take the survey to help me develop this idea!)

CREATOR BLOCKS: A productivity system for new and busy creators. It helps you get into the right creative mindset , and helps you visualize your schedule to live a more sustainable creative life.
