Draw Every Day in PROMPTOBER & Win
Draw or Die's first October Drawing Event has some cool prizes!
I thought it would be fun to launch our own Draw or Die October drawing prompt list. And to help encourage you to DRAW EVERY DAY in October, I’m tacking on some fun prizes… more on that in a second…
First, here are the official prompts and tags to use…
Here’s how it works…
Post your drawing of the prompt every day in October with hashtags #promptober and #drawordieclub
You can draw in any medium you wish. Pencil, ink, color, digital… go nuts.
If you complete the challenge in October, find the entry form in our instagram bio to enter, or in the weekly newsletter. Official rules will be found there.
Winners will be chosen with a randomizer (live or recorded) and winners will be contacted, and announced in the Nov 6th Draw or Die Newsletter.
What can you win?
Finish the entire month and be in the random drawing to win some cool stuff (provided by me for now) for artists like a CANVAS lamp and limited edition Blackwing Pencils and sketchbook. (my favorites!)
I’m fronting those prizes myself, but also asked some other awesome brands for artists to pitch in and they said yes.
For the latest on the prizes and the companies joining in to support artists in October, please check my instagram for the latest posts or story highlights.
If this sounds fun and you already plan to take part, please post a comment on this post with a link to your main social channel so we can all support each other.
And don’t forget about PROPSTOBER! You can take part in encouraging artists out there who are taking part in other October art challenges.
I hope you draw every day, and especially in October!
This is going to be my first non-Figurary challenge! Gotta show myself I can do a full-sized month haha
I have decided to plan and do this challenge. D.J., your encouragement and vision to push art is exactly what we all need. I draw every chance I get but struggle to find my next subject. I found my niche and hope everyone likes what I bring to this challenge.
Thanks!
