122: Break Time
Don't call it a hiatus...
Welcome to Week 122 of the Draw or Die Club Newsletter for Artists.
Here’s the TLDR lowdown, and then i’ll get into some more details.
I’m taking a break in August from the WEEKLY free newsletter.
Main focus of Draw or Die will be on building up the DAILY Drawing Club
It’s time for a refresh and replanning for the brand...

It’s hard for me to admit that I need to take a break on something, but my time has gotten very limited, and my upcoming schedule is looking pretty tight, so I’m taking my own advice and killing something off the schedule to open up a little bit of breathing room.
At this point, saving myself even a few hours or days a month is going to be essential to the BIGGER future for the brand and mission.
Boy, do you know how hard it is to break that streak? This past 122 weeks (2.34 Years of my life!) has really been awesome. If you’ve followed the journey here, (all i the archive) you will see all the ups and downs, this brand has taught me to be more vulnerable and more honest with YOU and myself.
And I know it’s helped over a 1000 artists start drawing again, or RETHINK your own relationship with art. So many who felt like failures at their art, now are using art to strengthen their minds, relationships and community. That’s pretty friggin’ incredible.
DRAW EVERY DAMN DAY!!!
THE DAILY DRAWING CLUB…
My #1 focus with the Draw or Die Club will be building up the DAILY DRAWING CLUB, which yes cost $5 a month. (you should join) and inside the daily club is really where we’re going to build the NEXT chapter of this brand. We’re NOT in this for the money, but the subs help pay for some costs associated with running this brand. Think of it like pitching in a tip jar or something.
No hype here, I really have a FEELING we could build one of the BIGGEST daily drawing clubs in the world together. But only if we keep it awesome and STAY ENCOURAGED.
I’m one of those guys who doesn’t like to ask for help, I enjoy doing as much as I can on my own, But I can’t do THIS alone. And that’s what we’ll get to talking about over there.

If you may have an order in right now, or I know we still need to ship some quarterly stickers out, hang in there! Ally (my wife) has been super busy as well with her new job, and we’re just a 2 person team here trying to keep up…
For now the only merch “on” are the print on demand items, and digital brushes.
The only sketchbooks and stickers we’ll send will be for the Daily Drawing Club members.
We’re both committed to keeping the brand alive and going, and re-thinking it and doing some planning together this month.
